One Small Step

As followers of Jesus, we’re called to “go and make disciples” – in other words, to share our faith with others and introduce them to Jesus. If the thought of talking about your faith strikes fear in your heart, you’re not alone! The good news is that it doesn’t need to be a scary thing! Continue taking steps as a disciple and point to Jesus along the way.

  • Being Disciples On Purpose

In Matthew 28, Jesus gives His followers the "great commission" to be disciples who make disciples. That means sharing our faith is the byproduct of our discipleship and not just a side activity. We want to strive to be disciples who are making disciples and pointing to Jesus as we go.

  • Learning to Love

As Jesus was preparing to head to the cross, He gave His followers a new command: love one another. It sounds easy, but it's anything but simple! The measure of our love for one another is His love for us - a radical love that flips everything upside down.

  • Pointing to Jesus

Does the thought of sharing your faith with others make you nervous? It might, but it doesn't need to! Inviting others to get to know Jesus is at the heart of being a follower of Jesus, but it's not about slick presentations, convincing arguments, or anything like that. It's simply pointing to Jesus and what's He's doing in your life.
