The Invisible War

Whether we realize it or not, there is an invisible war happening every day and it’s a war that involves us. We have a real enemy who is out to destroy us, who has had thousands of years to hone his skills and learn how to take us down. But by knowing his tactics, we can better prepare ourselves to live in the victory that we have in Christ Jesus.

  • The Accuser

    In this battle that we're in, we have a cunning and powerful adversary in Satan and his evil angels. As the Accuser, he throws our sin in our face, making us feel like we need to hide from God and that our sin defines us. But Jesus is our Advocate! He defends us against Satan's accusations and gives us His forgiveness and righteousness.

  • The Destroyer

    As the serpent, Satan deceives us with his lies. As the lion, Satan devours. As the Destroyer, his weapon isn't lies - it's suffering. Physical suffering is something we're bound to face in this life - it's a product of our broken and sin-filled world - but it also can be a tool of Satan to take us out of commission for God.   • The Deceiver

    We are engaged in an invisible war and the first rule of war is to know your enemy. Satan's oldest tactic in his fight against God and His Kingdom is to lie and deceive. But we have a powerful and deadly weapon to use against him: the inspired Word of God.
